Physical property

This is an off-white to pale yellow liquid, readily soluble in water, soluble in alcohols and chloroform, insoluble in ether, and deliquescent.
 

Product application

This is a raw material for organic synthesis, primarily used for the synthesis of cationic etherifying agents. It functions as an emulsifier, solubilizer, dispersant and wetting agent in pharmaceutics, and as a flotation agent in the synthesis process.
